01 — The story

The brief

Ayurveda sells on heritage and loses on shelf. The category is crowded with brands that look either clinically modern or so traditional they read as dated. Arto of Vedas needed to feel ancient and current at once — and needed rules, because the range was about to grow faster than any one designer could supervise.

What we built

A full visual identity: a logomark built from a five-pointed star inside a circle — the elements, balance and guidance the brand talks about — then the whole apparatus around it. Lockup variants, clear-space maths, correct and incorrect usage, a palette sampled from the products themselves, a two-face type system with a defined hierarchy, and a repeat pattern for packaging.

Why it works

Because the don’ts are as specific as the do’s. Every rule in the book exists because it prevents a specific failure we’ve seen on shelf — a mark too small, a logo dropped on a busy photograph, a headline set in the wrong weight. The range can now grow without the brand drifting.
